Is resin bound and resin bonded the same thing?2018-11-01T22:48:03+00:00

Resin Bound is a high porous, eco-friendly paving solution that we use to surface a driveway or patio. Decorative aggregates are mixed with specialist resins. These are then hand trowelled creating a smooth, flat finish.

Resin Bond

Resin bond is laid in differently to resin bound materials. A layer of resin is applied to the existing surface. Aggregates are then scattered in to the top of this layer creating a non-porous surface. A certain amount of loose stones are left to leave a coarse finish.

Can you install resin bound on any type of surface?2018-11-01T22:47:05+00:00

It can be installed on either a permeable asphalt surface or a concrete surface. A suitable base is also required before any installation can take place.
